Join us for the FREE Monthly Pelvic Health Café

The Most Supportive Hour of Your Month

A problem shared is a problem halved – join us at the Pelvic Health Café

If you’ve ever felt unsure, awkward, or even embarrassed to talk about pelvic health, you’re not alone.

That’s exactly why I created the Pelvic Health Café – a free monthly gathering where we talk openly, honestly, and supportively about the realities of pelvic health.

Whether you’re experiencing symptoms like leaking, prolapse, pain, or just feeling disconnected from your body, this is a space for you to feel heard, informed, and never judged.

What makes the Café special?

It’s not a class or a webinar – it’s a conversation. A circle of women coming together to share, listen, and learn from one another. Because I truly believe:

Community learning is powerful
A problem shared is a problem halved
Every woman deserves to feel supported in her body

I created the cafe because the truth is that too many women are struggling in silence, are told to “just do your kegels” or “wait until it gets worse.”  And so many of you feel like you are the only one.

The truth is you don’t need to struggle in silence, do pointless kegels, and you are not the only one.  I also really believe that every woman has a right to understand how their body works and have access to the incredible hive mind of collective knowledge and wisdom we all share.

Why community learning matters so much

One of the most powerful parts of the Café is what I call the hive mind – the wisdom we gather when women share their experiences.

A problem shared really is a problem halved.

Every woman brings her own insights and questions. And together, we create something truly special: a space where we learn not just from experts, but from each other.

You don’t need to have the answers.
You don’t even need to know where to start.
You just need to show up, as you are.

How do I start the pelvic health conversation with others?

One of the Café’s deepest missions is to help more women start talking – not just in our monthly sessions, but out in the world.

Here are 5 simple ways to introduce the topic of pelvic health with the women in your life:

  1. Start with your own story
“I’ve been learning more about my pelvic floor recently…”
Your vulnerability opens the door for others to share too.
  2. Normalise curiosity
“Isn’t it wild we were never taught this?”
This takes the blame off the individual and invites shared exploration.
  3. Use the Café as a bridge
“There’s this free event I go to – it’s helped me so much.”
    Extend the invitation without pressure.
  4. Name the silence
“I used to feel awkward talking about this… now I realise that’s exactly why we need to talk about it.”
    This creates safety and reliability.
  5. Lead with kindness
    “You’re not alone in this.”
Sometimes, that’s all someone needs to hear.

I would love to see you at our next cafe. Come as you are. No pressure. Just support, real talk, and a community of women ready to lift each other up.

And maybe – bring a friend. Because when one woman speaks, it gives others permission to do the same. With care, connection, and courage,

“Just Don’t…” – Why Limiting Advice Limits Women’s Lives

I was reminded recently of how many things women are told with undertones of “put up and shut up,” “accept and move on,” or “that’s the best you can expect.” Things that are life-limiting, disempowering, and often completely unrealistic. A common one that came up again recently was: “Just don’t lift anything heavy.” Women are…
